I will forever love the feel of a book. The turn of each page reveals a series of images that seem lifeless in a digital scroll. To feel the paper in your hand as you move back and forth through the inner workings of my mind's eye, seeing not just what i saw on the day, but what i had envisioned before even picking up my camera. This is the joy of photography for me.

THE LAKEHOUSE
This book was a long held idea who's time finally came in the midst of a personal mental health moment. Coming out of the COVID pandemic, I had a release of responsibility, which produced a lack of direction and some serious soul searching.
I approached my models, all friends of mine, with the idea to shoot a book in the Australian outback and they agreed. All proceeds since have gone to Beyond Blue, a men's Mental Health charity.
The book is a visual feast of raw masculinity and at times laid back vulnerability, displayed against the harsh backdrop of an Australian summer landscape.

After 10 years of work, an anthology was due. BODY…of work is a collection of some of my favourite images taken in the decade before its release. The images cover studio work, as well as location shots from my years of travel. It's hard to try and pin down a style that is uniquely mine; however, as widely different as each image is, there is a DNA that is undeniably me.

#MASC
#MASC was my first published book. It came off the back of an chat I had with a guy who asked me if I was MASC . My first response was 'What is MASC?" Such a pointless term when masculinity covers such a broad spectrum of representation. This prompted me to ask a series of questions on social media regarding the term MASC, what people thought was masculine and feminine in a guy and what made them look twice at a man. The next 12 months were consumed with travelling the country and shooting their responses.
#MASC is the exploration, and the varied definition of what MASC really means.
